Coaching

I offer personal, professional and senior level coaching working directly with individuals or through organisations. I also run group coaching and Action Learning Set programmes which are particularly beneficial in supporting teams through organisational change.

There are various stages in our lives and careers when we need some space to take stock, reflect and re-calibrate for the next phase. Life and work events, and natural transitions, often trigger these moments.

Moments such as:

  • Senior leadership challenges

  • Getting to grips with a new role

  • Missing out on a promotion

  • Work life balance

  • Change and transitions

  • Following the Coronavirus pandemic, I'm increasingly coaching around strengthening resilience and building positive mindsets.

I use an integrative coaching approach, drawing on a broad range of techniques and tools including metaphor, solution focused coaching, positive psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and cognitive behavioural coaching. My clients are the experts and I work with them as an equal partner, providing the thinking space and questions necessary to help them gain the insight and find the solutions they need to progress their goals. The coaching journey is an opportunity for real reflection, deep learning and experimentation. My coaching style is warm, open, and creative. It is always the clients who decide their actions at the end of each session, and as a coach I hold the client to account.

The video below offers a simple explanation of coaching, you'll find other short videos on my YouTube channel.

I work locally in Shropshire, Wales and throughout the UK, via Zoom, Skype, telephone or in person.

I'm a professional, qualified coach, accredited at Senior Practitioner level with the European Mentoring Coaching Council (EMCC). I work to the Global Code of Ethics for coaches, mentors and supervisors.

Over a period of around 6-8 months, Gayle worked with me to help identify barriers in my thinking and provided some useful tools to help boost my confidence and performance in the workplace. Gayle listened, challenged some of my assumptions and gently encouraged me to grow and push myself. As a direct result of her input and support I progressed to a senior manager role and I would thoroughly recommend her as an excellent coach.
